September 9th – September 29th, 2012  Tour Canada’s Pacific Northwest in your Model A. The Model A Touring Club invites all serious Model A hobbyists to join us as we take a three-week tour of the Canadian Pacific Northwest.

Some members attended the MAFCA International  Convention in Vancouver at the beginning of August 2010, while others weren’t able to attend. Now, there is an opportunity for everyone to tour beautiful British Columbia for three weeks.  

The Tour will start in the Provincial capital of Victoria on Vancouver Island and meander on a 2200-mile trip through the major regions of the province. Members will become familiar with Vancouver Island, the Sunshine Coast, Whistler, Cariboo Chilcotin, parts of Northern B.C., Kootenay Rockies, Thompson Okanagan, and finish with a personally conducted tour of the Vancouver lower mainland and Fraser Valley, where Bob and Marilynn Krause, the Tour Coordinators, were born and raised.

Specific details of these various areas will be provided as time moves along, just to whet your appetite in preparation for the tour. Yes, it’s still in the very early stages, but we’d like those of you who may be interested to mark your calendars early and come tour with us in the late summer of 2012.

The tentative plan is for 35-40 cars, contingent on interest, so an early indication by email, phone or snail mail would be very helpful in our initial planning.
