Our trip is coming to a close. We finished the final two days in Calgary, going both days to the “Calgary Stampede”. Four couples went to the stampede for 2 days, two couples went to the stampede for 1 day and one day dove to Banff. The other couple took a city tour and one day at the stampede.
During the day, we took in the usual fair stuff – see the sheep shearing.
The highlight of the first day was the Chuck Wagon Races and Grandstand Show and fireworks. The grandstand show was the best show I have ever seen. It lasted a full 2 ½ hours. They had talent as far away as Vegas. All during the show there were fire works at different parts of the show. Today we had tickets to the Rodeo. Being a city gal, I had a great time at the rodeo.
The rail system was great getting in and out of the City for the stampede. The weather was in the 80’s and perfect.
In the morning, we will drive 141 miles to our last stop in Canada – Cardston, Alberta. The next day we will drive through Glacier Park on our way back to Thompson Falls, Montana. We hope to be home on July 16th.
We’ve had a great time on our trip and hope you have enjoyed our journals.

As Carol said, this may be the last journal entry we receive from The Mosher Tour. In any event, your Web Master is pulling the plug and catching a plane to Seattle right now!
